 The Sun City Country Club was the first country club Del Webb ever built. It’s tree-lined golf course is the grandfather of all the country clubs now in existence at the numerous Sun Cities around the country. The Sun City Country Club facility in Sun City, Arizona features 6,223 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 68.4 and it has a slope rating of 115 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Milton Coggins, ASGCA, the Sun City golf course opened in 1968. Bob Chadwick manages the course as the General Manager/Director of Golf. It has 40 tees driving range with 18 regulation holes.
